Burnout & stress
Running hot for too long. We look at what’s driving it and build a plan to get your energy and edge back.
Men’s performance & burnout medicine
Psychiatric care for working men, founders, first responders, and dads dealing with stress, poor sleep, anxiety, scattered focus, or burnout. Straight talk, a real plan, and someone in your corner.
Who it’s for
Burnout rarely looks like a breakdown. For most guys it looks like grinding through the week and hoping the weekend fixes it. It usually doesn’t.

What we treat
We focus on mild to moderate symptoms that get in the way of work, family, and feeling like yourself.
Running hot for too long. We look at what’s driving it and build a plan to get your energy and edge back.
Constant worry, tension, or a mind that won’t shut off. Practical tools and, when it makes sense, medication.
Trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up wrecked. Sleep is usually the first thing we work on.
A thorough evaluation for focus and attention problems, with non-stimulant treatment options and real-world strategies.
Low mood, low drive, or losing interest in things you used to enjoy. You don’t have to just push through it.
Most guys don’t walk in with a label. Book an evaluation and we’ll sort it out together.
Book an evaluationHow it works
Pick a time that works through our secure client portal and fill out a short intake before your visit.
A 60-minute video visit from anywhere in Utah. We talk through sleep, stress, work, home, and health history, and you leave with a clear plan.
Shorter check-ins (about 25–30 minutes) to see what’s working, adjust the plan, and keep you moving forward.

About
Before outpatient psychiatry, I worked as an emergency room nurse. I saw a lot of people push through until something broke, and a lot of men who waited far too long to ask for help.
Now I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and I built Hatch for the guys who keep everything running and have nothing left at the end of the day. I listen, talk straight, and build a plan that fits your actual life, not a textbook.
I’m also a dad of three girls, so I know what it’s like to juggle work, family, and a full calendar on not enough sleep.

FAQ
We’re cash-pay and not in-network with insurance plans. If you’d like, we can give you a superbill, a receipt with the details insurers ask for. You may be able to submit it to your plan for out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies, so check with your insurer.
We don’t prescribe controlled substances at this time. For ADHD and focus concerns, care starts with a thorough evaluation, and treatment may include non-stimulant medication options along with practical strategies for focus and routine. If we think a different approach would serve you better, we’ll be upfront about it.
Yes. Hatch Psychiatry sees Utah residents only, and you need to be physically located in Utah during every visit. If you’re traveling out of state, we’ll find another time.
The initial evaluation is a 60-minute video visit. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, plus sleep, stress, work, relationships, substance use, and medical history. No judgment, no lecture. By the end you’ll have a clear plan, which may include medication, lifestyle and sleep changes, a referral for therapy, or some combination.
A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, a decent internet connection, and a private spot where you can talk freely. Your truck in a parking lot works fine, as long as you’re parked.
Hatch Psychiatry is not for emergencies. If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time, or dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
One hour. A real conversation. A plan that fits your life.
